Sion Roberts appointed as General Manager for TotalEnergies Gas & Power

Roberts, with the company for two decades and most recently its commercial director, succeeds Dave Cranfield, who will now head up TotalEnergies European gas and electricity supply business.

Cranfield said Roberts’ experience within the company made him the outstanding candidate.

“Sion knows our business extremely well and understands what is required to keep driving TotalEnergies Gas & Power forward in order that we continue to meet the needs of our customers whilst maintaining our position as the UK’s largest gas supplier to the I&C market and growing our electricity portfolio.”

The company, which says it supplies gas and power to some 150,000 UK firms, is the largest industrial and commercial supplier by volume, according to market analysis by consultants Cornwall Energy.

The firm is also pushing to expand its SME business and recently launched a ‘100% green gas’ product specifically for smaller companies.
